HO RULES:

For T-jet rules, we follow the Great Lakes Slot Car Series Rules.  Click here for series rules.

 

All Classes

 

1.     Any NASCAR/Sportscar body, but subject to the inspection and approval by The Association.

2.     Tyco “Glass” may be removed.

3.     Must have all four tires and body attached at the finish line.

4.     All cars must remain stock.

5.     Maximum car width – 1.312”

6.     Chassis – Tyco 440x2 wide or narrow, or Stock Life Like “M” Chassis, Stock AFX/Tomy SRT.

7.     Armature – Stock SRT, Tyco 440x2 or Stock Life Like “M” Armature, Stock SRT

8.     Motor Magnets – Stock SRT, Tyco 440x2 or Stock Life Like “M” Motor Magnets

9.     Traction Magnets – Stock SRT, Tyco 440x2 or Stock Life Like “M” Traction Magnets.  Can run an aftermarket Stock traction magnet.

10. Gears – Stock SRT, Tyco 440x2 (7t x 25t) or Stock Life Like “M” Gears (7t x 25t) or equivalent.

11. Bulk Head – Stock SRT, Tyco 440x2 or Stock Life Like “M” Bulkhead or Aftermarket Bronze Bushing Bulkhead

12. Electrical System – Stock SRT, Tyco 440x2 or Stock Life Like “M” Electrical System

13. Front Suspension – Stock Tyco 440x2 or Stock “Indy Style” Tyco 440x2 or Stock Life Like “M” Front End.  SRT may use a Wizzard FR-61 Storm independent fronts

14. Rear Tires – Must use stock SRT, Tyco or Lifelike Rear Hub but may use any slip-on tire compound.

15. All M-Tech cars must remain original.  Must use WIDE NASCAR bodies.

 

 

WOMP RULES:

 

Legends

 

Chassis:

1.      Parma #573 or #572, Champion #401 or #402 Chassis Only.

2.      May reinforce chassis any way you like, but must not be visible on bottom of chassis or outside of body.

3.      Can run either wheelbase length.

4.      May drill a 1/8’ hole at the front of motor to allow for oiling of end bell bushing.

5.      Tread Width is 2 ¾”. Car must fit freely inside tech tool. If car needs to be squeezed into tool car, it is too wide and must be narrowed.

6.      No offset of any kind allowed. Car must be square.

7.      Axle tube may be placed between the front axle carriers to prevent the uprights from bending.  The axle must run through the axle tube.

8.      Lead weight can be added to car for handling, lead weight must be located on top side of chassis underneath the body only.

9.      Minimum rear clearance 1/16” including gear.

10.  Motor: Professor Motor #1032 Only. Motor maybe bolted or soldered into place.

 

Axles & Gears:

1.      1/8” Front and Rear axles only.

2.      No bushings or bearing of any kind in Front Carrier.

3.      Axles may be placed in the front or rear axle holes on the front axle carrier depending on the wheelbase of the body. This is to prevent excessive opening of the wheel wells.

4.      Front tires may spin independent with use of axle caps. Brass axle bushings or oil-lites only.

5.      No Ball Bearings. No offset bushings or button style bushing.

6.      Gearing: 48 Pitch gears only. Car must have a 7 tooth pinion gear and any crown rear.

 

Tires:

1.      Front tire must be Pro Track #261(13/16th x .500”) or equivalent with a minimum width of .400” width & .750” diameter.

2.      Rear Tire Pro Track #327 or equivalent.  Minimum diameter of .812”.   May trim the tire to the hub.

 

Bodies:

1.      Champion 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207 or Parma 919C bodies only are allowed.

2.      Body must be fully painted including side of the bodies and have proper roof and door numbers.

3.      May reinforce body with tape and/or lexan.

4.      No alterations or additions to the manufacturer’s dimensions are permitted. Any cut-outs or openings must be the same as on the actual car, except front grill to allow for guide flag movement.

5.      Body will cover the entire chassis when viewed from above.

6.      All windows must be clear.

7.      Front wheels wells must be cut out.

8.      No cutting into the top of the fenders is allowed.

9.      Must have 3 decal or painted numbers on the car in appropriate positions.

10.  Body must have full interior and a 3d driver.  No roll cage required.

 

Modified

 

Chassis:

1.      Parma #573 Brass Pan Chassis (With two sets of front axle holes).

2.      Parma #572 Steel Pan Chassis (With two sets of front axle holes).

3.      No Alterations of Chassis.

4.      Tread Width is 2 ½. Car must fit freely inside tech tool. If car needs to be squeezed into tool car, it is too wide and must be narrowed.

5.      No offset of any kind allowed. Car must be square.

6.      Axle tube may be placed between the front axle carriers to prevent the uprights from bending.
The axle must run through the axle tube.

7.      Ride height- as long as chassis and crown gear do not touch the tech plate and they do not drag on the track surface the car height is legal

8.      Lead weight can be added to car for handling, lead weight must be located on top side of chassis underneath the body only.

9.      Motor: Slick 7 Mini-Brute Only. Motor maybe bolted or soldered into place.

 

Axles:

1.      1/8” Front and Rear axles only.

2.      No bushings or bearing of any kind in Front Carrier.

3.      Axles may be placed in the front or rear axle holes on the front axle carrier depending on the wheelbase of the body. This is to prevent excessive opening of the wheel wells.

4.      Front tires may spin independent with use of axle caps. Brass axle bushings or oil-lites only.

5.      No Ball Bearings. No offset bushings or button style bushing.

6.      Gearing: 48 Pitch gears only. Car must have a 7 tooth pinion gear and a 28 tooth crown rear.

 

Tires:

1.      Front tire must be Pro Track #219 Daytona Stocker (Cut tire to back of rim).

2.      Rear Tire Pro Track Eliminator # N222 (Fish tire, or Soft Compound tire). # 222 (Natural tire, or hard compound tire).

3.      Tire may be trued to any diameter.

 

Bodies:

1.      Must have a minimum height of 1 ½ from tech block to top of roof.

2.      1/32 Modified bodies by SRP or ME or if you would like you can scratch build a body

3.      Wheel well may be opened up to fit tires within reason.

4.      Body must have full interior and a 3d driver with roll cage. No roll cage required.

5.      Body must be painted and have proper roof and door numbers.

6.      Spoiler on the back of the deck will not be more than ½” from the deck up.

 

Any question on eligibility of a body style, contact me for approval prior to using body.  If you plan to do anything other than what is listed check with me to make sure it follows the intent of the rules. Just because it is not listed does not mean that it is legal. Remember cars are to resemble real cars that raced.

 

 

Dirt Late Model

Chassis:

1.      Parma #573 Brass Pan Chassis (With two sets of front axle holes) or Parma #572 Steel Pan Chassis (With two sets of front axle holes).

2.      Chassis must maintain wheel base of 3” to 3 1/4” to keep wheel base within reason of scale.

3.      Chassis body mounts must maintain a width of 2 3/8” to 2 1/2″ to keep body at proper width.

4.      Ride height- As long as chassis and crown gear do not touch the tech plate and they do not drag on the track surface, the car ride height is legal.

5.      Car must fit freely in tech tool. Offset is allowed. Car must fit inside offset tech block.

6.      Cars tread width must be no wider than 2 1/2″.

7.      Lead weight can be added to car for handling, lead weight must be located on the top side of chassis underneath the body only.

3.      Any type of bushing/oil-lite is allowed for axle carriers.

4.      Gearing: Must be 48 pitch gears.

1.      Rear Tire - Pro Track Eliminator # N222 (Fish tire, or Soft Compound tire) 1/8” hub or equivalent.

2.      # 222 (Natural tire, or Hard Compound tire) 1/8” hub or equivalent.

3.      Any front tires (Remember cars are to resemble real cars that raced)

 

Bodies:

1.      Must have a minimum height of 1 ½ from tech block to top of roof.

2.      1/32 Vaccu-Formed Late Model bodies only. Current approved bodies are made by SRP and Itch.

3.      Wheel wells must be open up to fit tires within reason.

4.      Body must have full interior with 3d driver. No roll cage required. Window nets are optional.
Bodies must be painted and look finished with proper roof and side number.

5.      Any question on eligibility of a body style, contact the S.C.O.R.E President for approval prior to using body. If you plan to do anything other than what is listed check with President to make sure it follows the intent of the rules. Just because it is not listed does not mean that it is legal. Remember cars are to resemble real cars that raced.
